Member Organization Profile

The IPv6 Forum in Australia is currently in start up having been soft launched at Linux2004 in Adelaide on January 12, 2004. The formal launch activities are planned around an ACCESS GRID Multicast IPv6 Workshop in July 2004.

Activities

The IPv6 Forum Australia/New Zealand is negotiating a join support structure with ISOC-AU and will promote similar aims as the Asia Pacific IPv6 Task Force.

The IPv6 Forum Australia is also pleased to be associated with the pioneering IPv6 work of the Australian Academic Research Network (AARnet).
