The IPv6 Promotional Council of Japan has fixed plans for a one-day,
intensive discussion program aimed specifically at cooperativedeployment/technical development in the Asia/Pacific region.
The meeting is scheduled for August 23, 2003 in Seoul,
Korea to accommodate those already planning to attend the Seoul APNIC Meeting and the Busan APAN Meeting both scheduled for late August.
Participation in the Summer Retreat is by invitation or recommendation only. Space is limited.

- Rather than a simple conference style presentation of deployment scenarios and technical issues, we propose a small scale,
intensive discussion format with the goal of providing technical and deployment solutions matching the status of each country in the region.

- Participation is restricted to the invitation of the Promotion Council or the recommendation of
a member of the Program Committee of
the 1st Global IPv6 Summit in AP held in Taipei in February 2003.
To allow wide participation from all countries in the region,
participant numbers from a single country will be limited to three to four individuals.
