With another year over, we look back at the events and revelations within broadband over the last year, and look to 2012 to see what we might be looking forward to in the industry.

IPv4, which is commonly known as internet protocol version 4 is the forth edition that was designed for identifying the devices that are on the network.

We're living in an exciting time in technology: From consumer products such as phones and tablets to the way your home computer accesses the Internet, everything is changing, and mostly for the better. We predict that next year the following 10 developments will change the way you interact with the digital world.

After about eight or nine years of networking innovation stagnation, the number of new innovations starting in 2010 and exploding in 2011 is astounding. Speed and feeds are increasing, but the exciting work in 2011 occurred in new technologies to support initiatives like cloud computing, storage and data convergence, as well as migrating to IPv6. Here are the highlights.

DrayTek is fully aware of business users seeking for the solution which offers advance security and performance for their network. Especially, they want to lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) while doing tech refresh to update the current router/firewall. That's perfectly understandable and the reason why DrayTek makes Vigor2850 Series become IPv6 ready. Existed users just need to upgrade firmware to 3.6.0 without worrying about another expense to get a new IPv6 ready router.
